We will learn and perform a wide variety of music from musical theater, to movie music, to folksongs, to vocal settings of poetry.
Music that is written and arranged for children's and youth's voices will be emphasized.
Our Seneca Primary, Elementary and Middle Choirs are held at St. Mark United Methodist Church - 616 Quincy Rd, Seneca, SC
Our Seneca Concert Choir is held at Trinity Baptist Church, 504 S. Oak St, Seneca, SC.
Our Pendleton Choir is held at First Baptist Church of Pendleton - 351 S Broad St, Pendleton, SC 29670
Our Anderson Choir is held at First Baptist Anderson.
Young Voices of the Foothills rents their choir rehearsal space from the churches listed above. YVF is not affiliated with the church or its ministries.
Grades K-1 in Seneca and Pendleton pay $100 for the semester. (30 minute class)
Grades K-1 in Anderson pay $180 for the semester. pays $180 for the semester (60 minute class)
Grades 2-5 pay $180 for the semester (60 minute class)
Grades 6-12 pay $200 for the semester (60 minute class plus sheet music cost)
Tuition covers all materials, a t-shirt, rental space, and music.
Monthly payment plans are provided.
No. Fundraising is not a part of the regular operational cost of YVF. Should a special circumstance arise, such as a day trip to perform or an entry fee into a contest, it will be discussed with all families prior to commitment.
Grades K-1 in Pendleton rehearse for 30 minutes weekly. Grades K-1 in Anderson have a 60 minute class.
Grades 2-12 rehearse for 1 hour weekly.
No. Parents are welcome to drop their children off for the 1 hour rehearsal time.
However, parents are welcome to stay onsite while the choirs rehearse.
